Located on the campus of Quinebaug Valley Community College (QVCC), EASTCONN’s Quinebaug Middle College (QMC) is a regional, public magnet high school for independent, motivated, self-directed students. Offering a rigorous, Humanities-rich and STEM-integrated curriculum, QMC provides students with a unique opportunity to attend free QVCC classes and earn transferable college credits, while attending QMC. Motivated students can graduate with both a QMC high school degree and an associate’s degree from QVCC. QMC students benefit from QMC’s personalized, competency-based approach to teaching and learning, as well as an embedded focus on public service projects; access to the Mobile STEM Lab; and a Town Meeting governance model. QMC is open to all Connecticut residents in grades 9-12.
